For haulers

Independent Hauler Agreement

This agreement applies to independent hauling professionals ('Haulers') who claim and complete jobs through the HaulHub marketplace.

Last updated: January 2026

1. Independent contractor relationship

Haulers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of HaulHub. You control how you operate your business, including your vehicle, tools, helpers, routes, and schedule. Nothing in this agreement creates an employer-employee relationship.

2. Eligibility

  • Be 21 years or older with a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Own or lease a pickup truck, cargo van, box truck, or trailer suitable for junk removal.
  • Maintain current vehicle registration and auto insurance meeting state minimums.
  • Complete HaulHub's onboarding review, including identity, driver's license, insurance, and vehicle verification.
  • Have a working smartphone to receive job alerts and upload proof-of-completion photos.

3. Claiming and completing jobs

  • Jobs show items, photos, location, and payout before you claim.
  • Once claimed, arrive within the scheduled window and complete the job as described.
  • Upload a clear "all clear" photo after pickup to release payment.
  • If the job is materially different from the listing, contact HaulHub before removing items so we can re-price with the customer.

4. Prohibited items and safety

Do not accept hazardous materials, including paint, solvents, motor oil, propane tanks, ammunition, medical waste, asbestos, or non-evacuated refrigerants. Use safe lifting practices and refuse any job you reasonably believe is unsafe.

5. Payment

Payout for each job is shown before you claim. Payouts are deposited on our standard weekly schedule after proof-of-completion is submitted and approved. You are responsible for all taxes on your earnings; HaulHub will issue tax forms as required by law.

6. Customer experience standards

  • Communicate promptly and professionally with customers.
  • Wear clean, appropriate work attire.
  • Leave the pickup area clean and swept.
  • Do not solicit off-platform work from HaulHub customers for 12 months.

7. Insurance and liability

You are responsible for damage caused by your negligence during a job. Maintain appropriate auto and general-liability insurance and provide proof upon request. HaulHub is not liable for your acts or omissions and does not indemnify you against third-party claims.

8. Deactivation

HaulHub may pause or deactivate a Hauler account for repeated no-shows, poor ratings, unsafe behavior, violations of this agreement, or failure to maintain eligibility requirements.

9. Confidentiality

Customer information you access through the platform (addresses, photos, contact details) is confidential and may only be used to complete the assigned job.

10. Changes

We may update this agreement from time to time. Continuing to claim jobs after an update means you accept the revised terms.
